Urbialba, 20 years of excellence in the construction sector

A benchmark in the public works sector in Albacete.

During the first quarter of the year, we were awarded several reference projects in the construction and public works in Albacete.

Among them is the awarding of the works for the construction of 88 subsidized housing units, garages and commercial premises between streets B, C, 2 and 3 of Sector 10 in Albacete.

Also, the improvement of the facilities of the Albacete Speed Circuit, whose purpose of the work was to improve the safety-related performance of the circuit ,the purpose of the works was to improve the safety-related performance of the circuit, in accordance with the requirements of the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM).

Our capacity in the construction of sports facilities was amply demonstrated in March with the inauguration of the new soccer field in new soccer field in Aguas Nuevas, this project was completed in record time, 2 months from the signing of the contract.

We expanded our presence in the construction sector in Teruel and Ávila.

In the second quarter of the year, specifically in the month of April, the joint venture formed by URBIALBA and EMIPESA, was the successful bidder of the two works tendered by the Teruel Airport Consortium, consisting of the construction of a logistics warehouse of 5,000 m2 and another of 1,500 m2 that will entail the urbanization of the South Zone of the Airport, with an investment of over 3,000,000 euros.

This year we also began the construction of two new sports centers in Teruel and Avila, specifically during the third quarter. These works respond to the educational and sports demands of the educational centers and the neighbors of the areas where they are located. The new sports center in Teruel is located in the neighborhood of La Fuenfresca, next to the CEIP with the same name as the neighborhood.

After a rigorous bidding process, Urbialba was awarded the contract for the construction of a new sports center in Avila, this will be located in the Integrated Vocational Training Center of the capital city of Avila. It is worth noting that this is the second construction of this type awarded to our company in just over a year, after the start of the construction of the «Arturo Duperier» sports center, also in Avila, in October 2022.

We consolidated our leadership in the construction sector in Castilla-La Mancha.

At the provincial level , the year 2023 will culminate with intense activity in the construction sector in Castilla-La Mancha.

During the month of June we started the construction of the new Orientation, Training and Employment Office in Villarrobledo.

In October we started the construction of the new construction work on the new Albacete Zone 3 Health Center, which will be located on the site of the former Mari Llanos Martínez ,this infrastructure will be located on the site of the former Mari Llanos Martínez School, on Torres Quevedo Street. The President of the Government of Castilla-La Mancha, Emiliano García Page, visited the first works. On the same day, but in the town of Villarrobledo, and also in the presence of the President, the inauguration ceremony of the new sports center for the IES Octavio Cuartero and the IES Virrey Morcillo a project executed by Urbialba.

The start of the fourth project for Mercajucar in October of this year, demonstrates the confidence and satisfaction of our customers with the industrial building works carried out previously. On this occasion, the project consists of adding 12 more cultivation rooms, which will increase the production capacity of Mercajucar, which already has 42 cultivation rooms at its facilities in Villalgordo del Júcar, Albacete.
